Mysterious file found in Docs&Settings folder

Hi,
Mysterious file named "html.exe" 30k size, found in the
Documents&Settings folder. I scanned this file with my
updated antivirus software, no viruses found. When
executed this file eats almost 90% of CPU and TaskManager
refuses to open, computer turns a turtle and force to
restart.
Does anyone know what this file is?

Thanks,

Walter

Walter,

there are a number of viruses that can actually carry a
payload of "html.exe". (Found details on the Symantec
site) As a rule, I would be very suspicious of any
executable that was not in one of the system folders.
(Windows / Winnt or Program Files) I would suggest that
you could / should probably delete the file.

Best of luck

No, but I like to live dangerous. If you want to email it to me at
ztrawhcs at hotmail.com I'll see if I can figure it out... :)
That's a throwaway account for me anyway if it starts getting spammed.

Thanks Tony for your suggestion I already have deleted
this file, I had first to have my PC rolled back for
secure to a previous date before executing this strange
file.
Sorry Menno but the file was already securely deleted.
