my word program does not save any documents

well while using the administrater (and this is the only user that does this)
user i have problems with word. when i open word a box that asks me to enter
my name and initials comes up (User Name --box--), once i do so to use the
program it freezes...however, if it does not freeze and i get acess to word i
am unable to save any typed documents...whever i try and save it nothing
happens...doesn't even take me to the saving options screen...when i click
on |file |close| the comp ask's me if i want to save...when i click yes, it
then freezes...i've already tried reinstalling the word and i've even
repaired...results are the same...i need help...PLEASE

Re-installing Word is rarely an answer. See
