Microsoft Word auto save.

I am busy writing report everyday...
This auto save function piss me off!!!
Can someone help me??
I basically want not to freeze my document/word when the auto save is on..
Please HELP..

There is no autosave function in Word. There is a save autorecover
information option which can be turned off from tools > options > save (or
you could set a longer time scale).
