Saving templates while working with document in Word 2007

In Word 2003, if you made changes to a template while working in a document
(such as autotext changes, macros, etc), if you hit "save all" the template
was saved as well as the document.

There isn't an equivalent function in 2007 that I can find. Has anyone
else? It's driving me crazy, because if I make auto text or macro changes to
a blank document, and exit Word, I lose those changes to the template.
There's no way to "save" them if there's no document saves.

You should be prompted to save a specific document template, and you will be
prompted to save Normal.dotm if you have that prompt enabled. But you can
also find the Save All command (under All Commands) in the Customize dialog
and add it to the QAT, or you can assign a keyboard shortcut to All Command:
FileSaveAll.
