My windows movie maker keeps closing

My windows movie maker keeps closing i can do all the standard stuff (stick the movie in story board add affects and music) But when i try and add stuff like transitions and credits and titles, it just closes no warnings no error messages just closes. Whats rong?????

ok i had this problem too. in windows,go to the start button and click on search, then, in the pane on the left , click on all files and folders and type in .ax in the box which says "all or part of the file name" then it should come up with a list of technical looking stuff. scroll down to the file which is called DivXAF.ax and rename it to "DixXAF.af_" there. problem solved

dont do what i said in my previous message, do this instead
