My website appears jumbled on some computers

I will preface this post with saying I am very new to Frontpage and
web design.

My website www.crossjewelers.com seems fine on many computers but on
my home computer the left side navigation menu is squeezed so that
single lines of type extend into 2 lines. What is causing this and
how can I fix it?

Any insight is much appreciated.

I opened the page and dragged the right side of the window over and couldn't duplicate
what you're seeing.
I did notice however that you have no doctype assigned to the page, which forces browser
to function in Quirks mode, which could be the problem.

Try adding:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"

to the very top of the page in code view, "Above" the opening <html> tag.

Also you've used the space bar to position your phone number and text links at the top of
the page.
That's a no no.

Try putting the text links in a 4 column 1 row table and then center the text in the
columns.
