my toolbar is missing!

Right-click in a blank area on the toolbar or menu bar, then choose the
toolbar you want.

where is the blank area? The whole toolbar is gone.

If there isn't any toolbar to right click: Click the View menu, click
Toolbars, and click on whichever toolbars you want to show (which will put a
checkmark to the left of the selected toolbars on that menu).
