My text boxes have borders when I print, but not on screen

I am creating a slide in PowerPoint 2003. I have white, opaque
rectangles/text boxes on two sides of a picture to label it and also square
off the edges of the picture. I have the format set to No Line, and I see
none on the screen, but when I print the slide I see the borders of the text
boxes as a thin line. Can I get rid of those lines somehow?

Choose View, Color/grayscale, Grayscale
Rightclick the shape, click Grayscale setting, click Grayscale.

That's it.
