text box borders

I came looking for an answer to a problem that was previously posted. I have
a text box with no borders, but when I print in B&W, the border prints no
matter what I do. The answer to the previous question indicated that drawing
a white box underneath would help, but that didn't work for me.

I tried drawing a white line and placing it over the border, but the line
prints (I know it's the line and not the border because I made the line much
thicker. I also just put the line somewhere random. It's invisible on my
slide, but there when I print).

Does anyone have a solution? This seems completely unreasonable, even by MS
Office standards.

Are you printing in Black & White or grayscale? If so, adjust those settings
by going to View > Color/Grayscale. This is a great resource for viewing
your slides before printing them...

Does the text box have a color fill?

If so set it to no fill. If you need that color fill draw a rectangle behind
(send backwards) the text in the color you need (no line) then view > black
and white, right click the box (not the text) and in black & white options
choose "dont show"
