My screen is pixilated and realy strange looking

I just installed vista and everything is looking fine, but then my screen
flickers and now everything is strange looking. It looks pixilated and it is
impossible to read any of the text or anything at all. All i see is diagonal
patterns and and everything appears to be shattered. It may be a driver
problem, but how do i install a driver if i cant even make out the background
on the desktop. Please help!

Boot to Safe Mode with Networking. You can download the driver and install
it there.

In Safe Mode, windows boots with minimal resources and standard VGA display.
