My SAMSUNG CDRW/DVD SM-308B not working

My samsung used to work when i was using windows
millenium but now i am running windows xp professional
and it wont run, it gives me an error message saying;

"The PxSub.dll support file does not appear installed on
this computer. Please re-install application."

When i go to the device managers it says its working
properly when its not actually running.
Please help.
