my .pst files got deleted and outlook wont open

Some how i deleted my outlook.spt and my archive.pst files and now i can not
start outlook 2003. i have gone through the setup a new profile such and
"made" new pst files but when i link to them after i start outlook 2003 the
outlook crashes. Is the only way to fix this a reformat?????

i have uninstalled and resinstalled and also done the auto fix function and
nothing at all.

What do you mean by "link to them"?

When you create a new profile and start that profiel does Outlook crash as
well?
What is the exact error that you get?
What is being logged to the Event Viewer?
