My PSP Files

Just noticed a folder in My Documents labelled My PSP files? Brand new Dell
laptop-got it Monday. I don't know what that folder is about;it's empty but
anyone have a clue? I'm assuming it's part of XP.

Did your Dell come with a trial edition of Paint Shop Pro? I
believe that's the folder where it stores any image files you
save with the program.

Good luck

You can find which programs use which file extension names at
http://filext.com/index.php .

In your case, .psp a the file extension for Paint Shop Pro image files, so
Paint Shop Pro is a good guess to be associated with a folder of that name
'PSP'.
It is amazing how many details computers involve!
