My Pictures moved but won't move back

I wanted to copy pictures from My Pictures in My Documents on my desktop over the LAN to a laptop. I went to Sharing in My Pictures and it said to drag it to Shared Documents. So I did. I copies the files, no problem. Then I go to move My Pictures back to My Documents, and Windows says My Pictures is a system file and cannot be moved or renamed. What gives? Do I just make up a new My Pictures folder in My Documents and then move the contents into it? If "My Pictures" is a system file, will it mess something up if I just create a folder with that name

TIA for any suggestions.

You moved the whole folder over? If so the response from windows is correct.
You should have just moved the pictures. Go to accessories and click system
tools then select restore and restore the system back to the day before the
move.
