My Pictures Folder

Hello Newsgroup,
First of all, thanks for the time that you have taken to read my problem and
for your assistance.
I’m running Windows XP SP2 Home.
I open the “My Pictures†folder and all these pictures from XP system and
other applications are located in this folder. Why they are located here?
If I delete them will XP and other apps work normally?
If I have to move them, where do I have to place them?

Thanks for your help.

Regards, Alex

Just wondering...how...exactly...are you
accessing these files?

It sounds like you are viewing Temporary
Internet Files.

The contents of your My Pictures folder
should be files that you have saved there.

John,
Thanks for your reply.
Indeed, it supposed to hold my saved pictures but for some reason I have all
these systems pictures and applications pictures like office.

I just accessed them by clicking on "My Pictures" folder located within "My
Documents".

Should I remove them? Am I going to have problems afterwards? If I install
like clip art, am I going to have them in "my pictures" folder?

My lack of knowledge in this field stops me to pursue a solution.
I hope you can help me.

On the other hand, I want to thanks you for your time.

Sorry, but I have no idea how those
images appeared in your My Pictures
folder if you did not place them there.

Maybe you have some friends or relatives
with more computer experience who
could take a look for you.
