my pics are saved as bitmaps and not jpg

this just started (and i'm new to computers) when I save
an image it is saved as a bitmap, they are in jpg format
already, why does it change them and how do i get it back
to saving in jpg?

No problem. If you want to prevent this to occur again, you can
automatically delete these files every time you close your browser.
After you click on Internet options and the window opens, click on the
Advanced tab. Scroll down under the Settings box to get to Security. Then,
check the box "Empty Temporary ......"
You will never get this problem again and it is better to clean out these
files automatically than leaving them there and then you have to manually
delete them. Just get rid of them automatically when you close your browser.
