My PC Keeps Restarting

HI

i recently had a problem with my PC... it keeps restarting! everytime i
try plying a game (like counter strike) or try removing or installing
something it restarts!! it(restarting) started happening once a month
and kept increasing... and now it happens everytime i do something
described above... either my PC restarts or a blue screen appears... i
got it checked and someone said it was the blaster worm and got rid of
it from my PC... but the problem still occurs... plz. help me... i dont
wanna reinstal XP

Hi

If you don't see any error messages with the shutdown/restart, right click
on My Computer, select Properties and then the Advanced tab. Click on
Settings under Startup and Recovery and disable 'Automatically restart'.
Next time your PC reboots, you should see a Blue Screen. Could you please
post the Stop Code from the BSOD?

Also, please have a look in the Event Viewer to see if any 'Error' entries
there may
refer to the problem.
