MY OUTLOOK IS STUCK IN OFFLINE MODE

I cannot get my Outlook back in Online mode (I use hotmail). I've tried
removing my email account completely and readding it - this does nothing to
solve the problem. I get one of two messages when I try to uncheck the
offline box (after waiting for about 10 minutes, of course): messaging
interface error or server timeout. This problem has been persistent for days
- there is nothing wrong with hotmail or my internet connection as these all
work fine. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!

that's part of Office Professional.

Try asking in a newsgroup related to Outlook (there are several starting
microsoft.public.outlook)
