My Outlook inbox won't allow more than 100 new messages?

When I return to work on Monday my inbox shows 100 new messages but people
are telling me they are getting undeliverable messages returned. Is there a
way to increase the amount of new messages allowed for my inbox?

That would be under the control of your mail provider. In your case,
probably the company IT staff.
