When outlook 2007 downloads my new mail messages they don't automatically
scroll into view in the inbox. I have to click on another folder and then
go back an click on my inbox and it will show me the new messages. Is there
a setting somewhere the will allow the new messages to automatically appear
in the inbox?

Yes, that is what I was asking ;-)
Do you have a virus scanner that integrates with Outlook? Disable this
integration and try again.

How do I know if my virus software is integrated with Outlook? I use Trend
Micro Internet security Pro. I know it checks my mail for virus but I don't
know if it is actually integrated.

Sounds like it is then. See the documentation of your virus scanner on how
to disable it properly.
