My Outlook 2000 does not automatically accept meeting requests fr.

I operate tow computers with outlook 2003 and two with outlook 2000.

When we schedule a meeting on the outlok 2000 calander, the 2003 version can
read and accept the meeting. However, when we reverse the operation the
2000 version does nto automatically update the calander and all we get is a
text message with the command ords in the mesage but no other action.

Am I doing something wrong with the set up for 2000 or do the two versions
not speak to each other if you are going from 2003 to 2000?

Outlook 2000 has a known problem with meeting requests sent with a reminder
from the newer versions of Outlook. Either uncheck the reminder when
sending from 2002/2003 versions to Outlook 2000 or contact Microsoft for a
free hotfix. See this article for information on getting the hotfix:

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After furious head scratching, Lynn asked:
