Cannot accept meeting requests

Here's a new one...When my users send meeting requests with more than two
recipients the users cannot accept the meeting. It becomes an attachment to
an email and when the users open the attachment they get something about them
being the owner of the meeting an that they do not have to accept. The
affected user are usually users on other (non connected) Exchange email
systems. Why is the format of the message being altered? Any ideas..?

How are they sending the appointment items? Are they sending the native format or are they forwarding the items as iCal?

Milly,
Thanks for your reply. They are not doing anything special on these meeting
requests so as far as I know they are not specifying any type of format.
Where would I go to verify that the appointments are going out as native or
ICal?
