My newly ME doens't recorginize cd drive

i installed window ME....setup went smoothly....but when i installed my
display driver(driver supposed to support ME and XP), computer hang...now i'm
not able to find my cd drive on my ME...but i see it on safemode...how do i
get my cd drive back in normal mode?
