My Network Places

I recently got a laptop from Dell with XP pro. I do some website work for a technical school here in the area. The only way I can upload to the server is through My Network Places. I tried to add a new network place but I kept getting the error 'The folder you entered does not appear to be valid. Please choose another.' I had gotten it to work at work, until my computer here at work crashed and the Administrator 'fixed' it. I can get it to work on my old (slow) PC running Win2K. Does anyone have any suggestions? It would be greatly Appreciated!!

Scott: I'm having the same problem. Do you ever get yours fixed and how?
I'm using back to back PC's with XP. One works, the other gives me the error
message you got about the invalid folder.
