My Network Places - The Internet

I have links that are no longer active in My Network Places / under
"The Internet". Is there anyway to delete these inactive links? If I
acidently click on them, "My Network Places" becomes unresponsive and
prompts that it is Not responding and to end now, so I can't just
click on the links and delete them. Thanks for any help.

Kevin,

what kind of links?

In theory they should disappear on their own after a few weeks,
so just wait.

If they don't, perhaps if you click on them and then wait for
two minutes, Windows Explorer may become responsive again, and
then you can delete them.

The links are "data at neptune.clarkson.edu" and "person on
admin-scb.ouhsc.edu"
I have no idea how these links got there nor how to get rid of them. When I
click
on one of the links, the "My Network Places" box becomes unresponsive and
must
be shut down by "end now" prompt. They have been there for more than a
couple
of weeks so I think I would be holding my breath to think they are going to
just
disappear on their own.
