Very slow, nonexistent network connection

Recently I noticed that I could no longer connect to other computers on my
wireless home network. I have a wireless access point connected to my
computer through the built in LAN on the MB. There are two other computers
on my network. These two computers can connect to the shared folders on each
other's computer but I can't connect to either one any more (Acutually I can
connect, but the My Network Places window always stops responding). I am
using Internet Connection Sharing so I am not sharing any resources from my
computer.
I have noticed that for some reason all of the links in My Network Places on
my computer show up under the heading The Internet. On the other computers
on the network the links (on their computers) show up under the heading Local
Network. Each time I try to connect to a computer on my network, I see lots
of internet activity. I don't remember seeing this in the past. Also, I
have a wireless print server set up on my network. The other day I tried to
print a simple file and it took forever. It seems as if data to and from my
computer to the network is agonizingly slow now for some reason.

I am guessing the reason for this problem is that for some strange reason,
my local network traffic is being routed over the internet. Since I am using
dial-up, this must be what is slowing everything to a crawl. I don't know
how to fix this though. If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Hope this information helps. I certainly appreciate your trying to help me.
It seems as if, for some reason, my local network traffic to and from my
computer is being routed over my internet connection. I tried pinging one of
the computers on my network and it always loses one of the packets.
