My Network Places - FTP upload Questions

Hi again. I am having a bit of a problem locating the Vista version of My
Network Places. I am specifically looking for the shortcut to my ISP
provided FTP shortcut.

I tried creating such a shortcut on the Vista desktop, but I can only get
the FTP index to open which means I can't drag and drop to upload to the
server. I also tried using Windows Explorer, but got the same result.

Question 1 - Where is the Vista equivalent of My Network Places?

Question 2 - What do I need to do to create a drag and drop shortcut to my
ISP's webpage/FTP server in Vista?

Thanks

Joe

Click Start > Network > Open the networked computer > Select the Share
documents folder for example, right the folder > click "Map Network Drive" >
click the link "Connect to a Web site that you can use to store your
documents and pictures.

Follow the wizard, a warning will pop up ok it and browse to the FTP folder

Andre - I clicked Start, Network, but I don't see a Share Documents folder
and I can't find anything that remotely resembles Map Network Drive.

I found the Map Network Drive using Vista Help. I successfully completed
the wizard and when I clicked Finish, my FTP server opened with drag and
drop capabilities just like in XP.

Question: Where in the world is the shortcut to my ISP's FTP site which I
assume was created after completing the wizard?

Thanks again.

I can connect to the FTP site and view the contents, but I cannot drag and
drop pictures, etc., like I can in XP. I keep getting a pop-up dialog box
asking me to make sure I have permission to access the FTP site. I don't
have this problem in XP.

Any thoughts about why I might be having this problem in Vista?
