My missing threads

I was trying to search for a few questions that I had posted somewhere in
Access Database in August05 and I cant find them now. First I was thinking
that they might have been deleted because they were too old but now I see
threads in there as old as from 2004. Can someone tell me what happened to my
posts and is there a way to retrieve them as I need to refer to them again.

here you can search for very old messages

for storage reasons most newsclients are set to delete old messages and
so are the news servers

Thanks, I got what I was searching for. Just wondering though not a big
issue: this website is in German language, is there an English version too

just http://groups.google.com will get you ALL languages (though you
can filter if you wish).
