Hi,
When I tried to transfer a video from my dvd/cd software to the disc i hit
problems, when i put the DVD in the disc drive changes to a CD drive and when
i try to burn it i am asked what type of CD do i want to make, I obviously
don't want to make a CD i want to make a DVD!!!
I am running windows XP with SP2
I am not good with tech stuff so i would appreciate it if any answers are
very basic!

Windows does not natively make dvds, so you need to use either dvd writing
software to make data dvds, or dvd authoring software to make video dvds.

I AM using dvd movie software, i think its called Magix.
The problem is when i don't have a disk in the drive it is showing in My
Computer as the DVD drive but when i put a blank DVD in the drive it changes
to a CD drive, i'm sorry if my description was not clear enough in the first
post!
