My Laptop keeps freezing ! help plz !

I have a IBM thinpad x22 with windowsXP
my laptop keeps freezing and i have tried the recovery
progarm on the boot screen by pressing f11 and then its likes
brand new then i install macfee total protection 2007 and update it and scan
it
but my laptop keeps freezing. i read some inof on registery sutff and belive
so i have a problem in my registery files and wondered if there was a way to
fiz the files or reinstall them or windowsXP.
please help me I might be wrong abou the casue of the frezzing to be the
resitery file plz help me .

I'd be more inclined to look at an overheating issue. Does the fan move any air?
See if you can blow any dust out of the CPU heatsink. You'll probably have to
open the case to do that. Good luck,

I ll try that but when it freezs it makes this big mose "teetete" like it is
processing somehting really big and beofre it freezes it makes a turn off
noise like some machine like "zeze" and then the mouse freezezs. Does this
thing have anyhting to do with the registry files? If so will like regitry
mechanic or some other progarm fix it because before I used the recovery
program i wen on google and typed in regitry and one of its sponser on the
side was liek reistry fix or something so i downloaded that and scaned my
computer and it said like 23 registry problems and it fixed 6 of them for me
and then told me I would need to buy the premuin service to fix the rest
which i didnt not want to spend my money on so if there is an alternative wya
please help me.

I can't imagine a registry corruption exhibiting the symptoms you describe. I
had to open my laptop and replace the CPU heatsink grease and clean the
dustbunnies out to cure it. Working with the CPU is not a novice task. You
should probably take it to an expert for service.
It could also possibly be a hard drive failing, but I'm still betting on heat.
