my IE is just plain wrong (i need help)

Ok my internet explorer and othe ie related programs, like
outlook express seem damaged, i've had to resort to using
opera, but i much rather prefer internet explorer, my
problem is:

You know how when say at sites like google where you need
to type in the box, well, my proble is i can't, not on any
sites, i can type in the adress box up the top of IE but
not in any boxes in the sites, the cursor still chande to
the I but it wont do anything, i've tried reinstalling it,
everything. in this website i couldn't clik in the message
boxes or anything, and finally in outlook express i can't
click to write a subject with my pop3 email account, or
write a message for that matter, plz help me, i think it
may be a virus of some sort, but if it is vet doesn't pick
it up.

Hi,
This is probably being caused by a third-party program (adware, spyware,
parasite)

Work through the solutions (CWShredder, Ad-aware, Spybot) at
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm Also note the security tips on that
page.
Run CWShredder first as CWS-Datanotary can cause a similar problem.
