very plain IE

Hi,
I have had a very plain IE (just writing banners show up as writing over
writing,scripts run off and over the page, no background colours or
pictures) for a few weeks, I have no viruses on pc.
All the spots in the InternetOptions/Advanced are ticked, where they should
be.Have tryed to uninstall but E Icon is not in add/remove program.

Other users on this pc have no problems with theirs,

Hi,
Check settings in these two areas:

Control Panel> Accessibility Options> Display. Make sure that High Contrast
is not checked. Also click on Settings and uncheck Use Shortcut. That will
disable the Alt+Shift+Print Screen shortcut to High Contrast.

Then, Internet Options> General> Accessibility. For most users, nothing
should be checked.
