My Floppy Diskette drive does not work..

I purchased a new diskette, because I thought my old diskette did not work...
when I installed the new diskette, I found, it also does not work...
I tried trouble shotting it says ''driver is functioning properly''...
I tried updating the driver online, but the Operating Systems says,''There
is no better driver for this device''... I need my floppy drive to function
correctly...

Is the floppy drive recognized in the bios?

Hello,

It is possible that your floppy drive heads are dirty, happens every now and
then.

Use a cleaning diskette in it with alcohol - you have to buy this at a
computer shop.
