My fax kept crashing so i removed it but cant restore it/configur.

Removed fax from add remove windows components due to continual error
messages, but it won't restore properly, when i click the check box and run
the wizard fax icon does not appear in printers, if i return to add/remove
window components check box is still unchecked. Fax console opens but when i
click edit nothing shows in drop down window. Fax folder under accessories in
programs shows empty. Can you help in restoring Fax?

You would do well to mention the fax program to which you are referring and
more details about what happens when you run its installation program.
