My Excel "Find" won't 'find'-says it's not there and I can see it

Most of the time my Excel "Find" won't locate a name in my database. Have
gone to "Find" advanced options and changed everything but still no luck. Is
this a bad Excel 2003 or do I still need to learn something? Thanks, Dusty

Often what you see is not what Excel is seeing. Imported data in particular
can have leading or trailing spaces, hidden characters, etc. All of these
are being seen by excel, but not you. Try typing the data in the cell that
you can see and try another search.

I know of no particular issues with 'Find' in XL2003
