Sending mail in Duplicate

I'm using Outlook Express 6. When forwarding or sending an email my mail is
getting to the sender in Duplicate! I also get an error message that there
is a problem from the program and that it will not send. In fact the mail
is in the send box and it IS being sent out but in duplicate!

thanks for any help!

Here is the error message below that Outlook Express tells me when I send an
email and add an attachment to it. The email at the other end ends up sent
two times to the recipient and shows only once in my sent folder!

please help! I miss sending out emails and forwarding! thanks very much!

I think I just fix it by going in to my virus program, Trend Micro and had
the scanning stopped on the outgoing emails and the duplicates stopped. Out
of the blue the emails were sent to people in duplicates.

I'll turn on the the virus scan again down the line and retry.
thanks!!

Never scan outgoing messages. It's pointless and can, as you discovered,
interfere with mail.

Dude! You had the perfect answer for me! I have Trend Micro, too. Nothing
on Microsoft.com would tell me a thing. Thank you so much!

Ask in an Outlook Express newsgroup, then.
microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general.
