MS Outlook 2007: Sending duplicated messages?

When I send ONE message in Outlook, I can see at bottom right that the
message is being sent, but it shows "sending 1 messages of 2" and then
"sending 2 messages of 2". Why is this, when I am only sending one? Is my
message somehow being duplicated?
