Hi all. When i print email messages from outlook express i realise my email
messages are cut off by 1/2 inch from the left side of the print. How can i
solve this? Thks in advance.

Have you checked your Printer settings? From Outlook Express click the
Printer button or go to File->Print to open the Print window. Select your
Printer and then click the Preferences button. Select the Paper/Quality Tab.
Click the Advanced button. You should be able to make changes there.

OE shares the Internet Explorer print settings. Open IE and change them
there.

WHY do you need to print emails in the first place? OE is a FAR better
filing system than any paper-based one!

Outlook Express uses the same print engine as Internet Explorer.

For print size: IE>View>Text Size>Make adjustment.

For margins: IE>File>Page Setup. (Default setting is 0.75 all around).

yeah sure ;-)

OE doesn't burn down, you can store any number of archive copies on a CD,
and you can search for text inside a message. You can't do all that with
paper, now, can you?

And how does one read any of this info if they don't have access to a
computer running OE?

Replying to the statement,

My job is one work place you wouldn't be able to function without a printed
e-mail since 8 different employees log in to the one available computer in
my work area. If I didn't print out any of my e-mails I'd be up s..s creek
without a paddle. No printed e-mails? What a laugh.

Check the printer settings.
If the printable area is set wrong, it cuts things off.
If the default font size in OE is set larger than the sender used, it may go
outside the printable area.
