I am having an issue with the my documents folder. Please
help me. The issue is that whenever I log on any of the
users in XP, my documents automatically opens up when the
user is loaded. If I switch user and then go back to that
user name, it doesn't open the folder. It is only when I
initially log on a user name. It does it for all of the
users id's. How can I get it to stop doing this??

Rob, go to Start>Run type: regedit
Using Regedit, change the following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS NT\CURRENT VERSION\WINLOGON
Change USERINIT from
C:\windows\system32\userinit.exe,c:\windows\system32\userinit.exe to
C:\windows\system32\userinit.exe,

To start a program each time you start Windows
Right-click the Start button, and then click Properties.
On the Start Menu tab, click Classic Start menu, and then click Customize. This changes the style of the Start menu.
Click Advanced.
In the Start Menu folder, find the shortcut to the program you want to start each time you start Windows, and drag it to the Startup folder located in the Programs folder.
