Hi,
We have one winxp terminal that been shared by 2 users using only 1 login
account.
We decided to connect the said terminal to the network and have join a
domain which we have done successfully. Since the users are sharing the
files in "My Documents" folder, we have moved the files to "Shared
Documents"
These are the things we have done next
1) Created a domain account for the first user
2) Log-in to the terminal using the newly created account successfully
3) Right clicked My Documents -> Properties -> Move -> Shared Documents.
4) Double clicked My Documents and all files in the Shared Documents are
present, meaning the My Document location movement was successful.
The next day, the user logs-in and she got an error that "roaming profile
cannot be loaded - logging you in with a temporary profile". All the files
in My Documents are missing. So we log on as administrator, search for the
documents everywhere but we can't find any of them. We did a search of
*.doc to Drive C but we can't find any of the files in My Documents. We've
looked at all the locally cached profiles but can't find them.
Please help.
