My Documents folder

My computer is sluggish, so I want to format it, but as I have two hard
drives, I would like to have my data on one and programs on another. As
Windows will be on the C drive, I will use that as the programs drive, is it
possible to change the "my documents" folder to save to the D (data) drive
instead?

Yep... right click on the My Documents folder on the desktop, select
Properties and there is an option to 'move' it. It does require the PC to
logoff and logon again (but not restart).

So in the future if my pc needs a bit of a "refresher" all I need to do is
format the c:\ drive, where windows and the programs are installed....and my
data should be safe?! That is what I am hoping anyway!
