A
Access Denied to My Documents
Good Afternoon:
My profile (user account-admin privledges) became
corrupted in WinXP. All of "My Documents and all
subfolders/files were "encrypted" for obvious reasons.
Prior to re-establishing a new admin profile/account,(and
deleting all files and folders of corrupted account) I
copied all "docs" to CD for back-up as well as to
secondary HD folder. New account works fine with one
exception, unable to access any of the "My Documents
folders/sub-folders,files & sub-files". Access denied.
Have attempted reversal of procedures as per KB with no
results.
Is there any way I can re-establish access to all of
these files and folders again, or are these all now
toast??
Would conducting a "reinstallation of WinXP" be a work
around solution to this?
Any help is greatly appreciated and thank you in advance.
Thanks
