My desktop freezes

Hi.
my desktop freezes once awhile everytimes when i'm multi tasking.
the Start, system tool bars. Launcher bar.. nothing seems to be clickable.
right click dun work too. nothing.
and any windows that are opened and closed, will have an image of it
retained on the desktop.
i have to Alt-Ctrl-Del and end task of Explorer.exe and Run new task again.
anyone noes why??

hi.
to the person who has the problem of the hanging up
computer.is this a refurbished computer,cause mine is and
i'm having the same problem.this is cause there are too
many operations being performed at the same time and its
not possible for your apparantely good computer to cope
with.

i dunno either.
mine is a new computer. has never encounter these b4 only till after this
recent format.
it seems that it's getting frequent.
dun understand.
