My custom loop is getting stuck at the end

I have created a custom show with 16 slides where after each slide it returns
to the first. When I set it up in kiosk mode (to loop continuously) it gets
stuck going between the last slide and the first slide. How can I fix this?

Have you checked to see if you have checked the "advance slide to advance on
mouse click and automatically after your determined time" in the Slide
Transition area. Also, go to slidde show/set up show and make sure in show
options it says loop continuously until Esc and I use "Using timings, if
present" under the Advance Slides Area.

That is exactly how it is all set up. I am not sure what else to try.

Kathy Jacobs was able to provide a solution, but it's unfortunately not
showing up in that thread. (I swear, Google Groups is going down the tubes.)

IIRC, the fix was to add a copy of the first slide and use that as the one
in the custom show. Then the first slide and last slide would loop
appropriately. I'm not positive that's right, but maybe it will give you
some ideas to try.
