MY computer will not show all memory in Windows

N.A.W.

I have a HP xw8200 Worstation PC I bought it with 2GB of DDR2/400 mhz/Dual
Channel memory. I bought (2) 1GB of the same memory. If I go into BIOS it
reads 4096MB but in Windows XP SP/2 is says 3.0 GB Is this a glitch in
Windows?

You will never see all 4 gigs due to PCI address holes, but you may want
to look in MSconfig(Start, Run ) and BOOT.INI tab, Advanced, and make
sure you uncheck "maxmem".
