My computer running slow on outlook 2007 & 200k emails

Are all 200K in the Inbox or spread throughout different folders? (You want
the later for better performance.)

Are they in folders or in the inbox? if you have them sorted into folders,
they shouldn't slow outlook down much. You could also archive the older
messages (a good idea at the end of each year anyway) to reduce the size of
the mailbox.

See http://www.slipstick.com/outlook/ol2007/slow.htm for steps you can try -
these are especially helpful if you upgraded from an older version and are
using the old profile.

"Solution 3: Create a new profile. No need to delete the old profile just yet, just make a new one to see if the problem is fixed.

If this fixes the problem, you can delete the old profile. "

Thats not possible sir. I have many accounts in it..
If i'll do that i'll be spending time on adding them back in.
by the way outlook got stuck so i killed it and now im waiting 50minutes for outlook to fix the Personal folders file. .

Unfortunately, it may be the only way to fix it - living with a slow outlook
can easily eat up more time than recreating the accounts. Test it first with
one account in the profile to see if it fixes the problem.

If you have more than 3 -5 accounts in the profile, put the accounts into
different send/receive groups and automatically check for new mail no more
frequently than 10 min, 20 - 30 min (or longer) would be even better. When
outlook polls for mail it can slow things down a lot.
