my computer on the desk

does anyone know the registry key for customizing the "my
computer" with the username on the desktop. I know I can
just type it in over "my computer", I thought I had ran
into a registry update for this.

See www.dougknox.com, Win XP Utilities, Rename System (Desktop) Icons. You
can use this utility to rename My Computer, and the other "system" icons on
the Desktop.
