My Computer on Start Menu

I have My Computer configured to "Display as a menu" in the start menu. However, when I click on it, it only expands the contents one level deep. In other words, I can't click on my Hard Drive and have that expand into sub-menus. Is there a way to make it work that way? It does work that way for My Documents, but not My Computer. TIA...

If you drag it to the All Programs Menu it will cascade as many levels as you want.

It would be nice to know what happened to the treatment of classid's as extensions.
