My computer keeps freezing

My computer keeps freezing up when rebooting. I have to
keep resetting it then start it with the last good
configuration. Please help.

Also, when it does finally start i could be on the
internet and it will freeze. Something about
windows/windows32?

my last pc had this problem over the summer and the issue appeared to involve the motherboard. the computer would freeze at random times during statup or in an application. check your applocation and system logs (control panel --> administrative tools --> event viewer) for events or errors corresponding to the times when your pc has frozen.
