my computer it's freaking out HEELLPPPPP!

Hi I really need some help formy computer I'm using
windows xp and it keeps on shutting down with aol messages
saying that it is repairing the problem then aol takes the
control of everything when they are finished the message
reads to sign back on using the aol software for awhile to
see if it work so I do then it isn't very long until it
does it again

another thing is that from time to time there will be
little smiley faces just appear out of nowhere so i
installed spyware blaster and there is also a little block
about the size of one of the little send buttons that
appeared on my screen and it won't go away


my system also seems awful slow then I got an e mail from
somewhere promoting bug dr and that program said i have 25
problems oh my god i thought that spyware blaster browser
blaster cookies blaster temp ie balster and this mro
blaster programs were supposed to eliminate these bugs
from my system

can anyony tell me what to do I went and was looking in
the event viewer andthere were a lot of error reports none
of which i understand PPPPLLLLEEEESSSSEEEEEEEEEE HELP

Looks like you have a virus...

If you can run an up-to-date virus scanner, do so. Otherwise, visit
www.symantec.com and have them scan your PC for you. If anything is found
you can repair there and then.

If this started recently, you can try a system restore from a point before
the first event.

You can reinstall XP over the top or boot to the XP installation disc (go to
BIOS and set it) and choose a repair installation. Dixsconnect all
peripherals - printer, scanner etc - before doing so.

I tried and tried but it's really hard to make sense of just what you are
saying... Maybe if you tried again, this time using proper punctuation and
sentence structure, some of just might be able to figure out what's wrong.
Also, it helps a lot if you post the actual text of any errors and not your
interpretation of them.

I suspect you probably have a virus, so you should buy some AV software
immediately if you don't already have some. If you do, make sure it's up to
date. It may pay you in the long run though, to take your PC to a repair
shop and get them to fix it...
